As a data scientist, my work has primarily been in epidemiological and biostatistics academic research, utilizing a mix of classical statistics and machine learning methods. I have extensive expertise in database management, data wrangling / ETL,  healthcare data (including claims and EMR), demographic survey data, and more. As a musician, I am a vocalist, and saxophonist, and composer. In particular, I am a classically-trained bass-baritone with extensive choral experience over the past two decades. In addition to classical repertoire, I am also interested in experimental music, jazz, and electronic manipulation of sound. I hold a Masters of Fine Arts in Music Composition and Theory from Brandeis University.
